 Scholarships
| 1. | Shanghai Government Scholarship (Download detailed information)
Should first apply online (Website: http://www.study-shanghai.org ). Then print the Application Form of Shanghai Government Scholarship and submit the paper to the International Students Center (ISC) of Shanghai Normal University.
Deadline for application is May 31 every year.
Shanghai Government Scholarship (SGS) is divided into 3 classes.
1) Class A —For Master's applicants (about RMB 50,000 per year per student) and
Ph. D. applicants (about RMB 60,000 per year per student)
2) Class B —For undergraduates, Master and Ph. D. applicants (about RMB 20,000 per year per student)
3) Class C —For registered undergraduates, Masters Ph. D. students (about RMB 5,000 per year per student) |

(SHNU is one of the authorized universities to accept international students sponsored by Confucius Institute Scholarship and China Government Scholarship.)
1) Confucius Institute Scholarship
Applicants should first fill in the Confucius Institute Scholarship Application Form On-line:
http://cis.chinese.cn. Applicants should then submit the Application Form and the related application
materials to the Confucius Institute in the applicant's own country or the Chinese consulate or embassy
in the applicant's own country.
Confucius Institute Headquarters in Beijing of China is in charge of Confucius Institute Scholarship.
2) China Government Scholarship (Download detailed information)
Applicants should submit the application materials to the Chinese consulate or embassy in the applicant's own country.

China Scholarship Council in Beijing of China is in charge of China Government Scholarship and the website for China Scholarship Council is http://en.csc.edu.cn
