It’s happening again my beauties! Jaclyn Hill and Morphe Brushes announced today on social media that they have been working on a brand new eyeshadow palette coming soon in 2017. This palette has been in the works since February 2015 and will contain 35 shadows that Jaclyn helped personally create. Jaclyn mentioned that herself and Linda the owner of Morphe, had a vision to create a palette that had the best pigmentation and the best blendability for an affordable price, which hello what more could we ask for? The palette will include shades suitable for all skin tones, and will contain your neutral shades, cool tones, highlight shades, smokey shades, etc. Their goal was to create a product that had every shadow you need all in one palette.
Make sure to follow her on snapchat Jaclynrhill, to see swatches and hear more information about their new collaboration!
Hey guys! A couple weeks ago my husband Nathan & I, my brother-in-law Nick and his fiancé aka my best friend Lindsay all took a mini road trip to Brookshire, Texas to visit the Dew Berry Christmas Tree Farm. It had just finished raining for two days straight, and the farm was a muddy mess but we still made the most of it. We even saw a few little shoes stuck in the mud… it makes me laugh to think what all the parents said when they got back to the car and noticed their child lost a shoe a few acres back 😄. The farm itself had so many cute Christmasy things to do from a wreath barn, antique and gift shop, and a petting zoo for the little ones. We will definitely be making a trip back next year and will have to plan for a prettier day with better weather. Hope you guys enjoy the video. If you do, please make sure to give it a like! Thanks, and happy holidays! xo, Morgan
Nathan planned this entire trip to Austin for our 1 year anniversary. We stayed at the South Congress Hotel which was so amazing. The hotel is super eclectic and totally gives you the whole “Austin” vibe. We ate at several of Austin’s top rated restaurants, which we highly recommend Magnolia Cafe & South Congress Cafe for breakfast and brunch. For lunch, Guero’s Taco Bar for the best ritas and fajitas in town, or Hopdoddy if you’re feeling burgers and a nutella & pretzel milkshake (yea.. that’s a real thing). For a late night dinner we went to Searsucker which was a little more pricey and upscale but totally worth it. If you go, you have to try the duck fat fries, trust us! Besides stuffing our faces with delicious food, we also walked up and down South Congress Street and visited a ton of cool little stores and antique shops. The great thing about our hotel was how much we were surrounded by.
On our last day there we took a drive to Fredericksburg, Texas to visit a couple wineries. Surprisingly Texas has some of the United States top rated wineries. We stopped at Becker Vineyard first for a tasting and had an amazing experience. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and taught us a lot about the different kinds of wine and blends. Our next stop was about 10 minutes up the road at Kuhlman Cellars. Nathan and I were able to get a last minute reservation for a wine and food pairing within 20 minutes of leaving Becker, talk about luck! The pairing was one of the coolest experiences. They gave us 6 bite sized gourmet appetizers to pair with 6 different wine tastings, it was so amazing and unlike anything we had ever tried. If you’re interested in taking a trip to Austin, we both highly recommend all the places linked and listed. If you try any of them out we’d love it if you’d comment and let us know how you liked it.
